Car Accidents

One of the main sources of personal injury cases in the United States is due to auto accidents.  There are over 5.5 million car accidents a year and over 2 million injuries as a result.  With auto accidents, the primary legal principle used to determine fault is negligence.  With negligence, it is assumed that all operators of motor vehicles are using the necessary caution while driving and are aware of the laws needed to keep our roads safe.  If the driver is not using the necessary caution or is unaware of the the laws they are ruled to be negligent.  In most car accident cases, the verdict is ruled against the driver determined to be negligent.
